World Hydrogen Technologies Convention (WHTC)

Imagine a world in which cars are powered by Hydrogen and our homes get electricity from a Hydrogen fusion power plant! It would be a totally different world from what we see today. Yes, that’s a reality we need to create together.

As an important step towards making a transition to the Hydrogen economy, India is hosting the third edition of the World Hydrogen Technologies Convention (WHTC). A biennial congress of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy, WHTC-2009 is being hosted during August 26-28, 2009, at New Delhi, by IndianOil, India’s flagship national oil company, and SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers), in association with Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

Welcome to WHTC-2009!

WHTC-2009 convention is aimed at the strategists of the energy industry. It will bring together International & National researchers, policy makers, investors, energy producers and consumers in an endeavour to align their efforts and knowledge relating to the production, usage, and safe handling for promoting hydrogen as a potent energy carrier. The delegates of WHTC 2009 will have unique prospects to forge fruitful partnerships in developing breakthrough technologies and initiate inter-disciplinary discussions & projects pertaining to targeted hydrogen research.

Technical Submissions & Author Information

Technical Abstracts are solicited for both oral and poster presentation. All Accepted Technical Submissions are required to follow guidelines given in the Guidelines for Submission of Abstracts and Technical Papers
