Name of the sponsoring Agency: Coal S&T by CMPDIL
Consolidated Fellowship: Rs. 18,000 PM
Qualifications: M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Tech) in Geology/ Geophysics/
Physics/Math or
B.E/ B.Tech in Mining /Civil Engineering with
minimum 60 % marks.
Desirable work Experience Minimum one year of experience in working in an R&D
project related to
underground coal mines with knowledge of finite
element modeling and CAD tools.

B. Project Assistant

Name of the sponsoring Agency: Coal S&T by CMPDIL
Consolidated Fellowship: Rs. 8,000 PM
Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering
Desirable work Experience Minimum one year of experience in working in an R&D
project related to underground coal mines

Age limit: 28 years. Relaxation in age can be considered for suitably qualified and experienced candidates if so
recommended by selection committee. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by
3 years for OBC candidates on production of appropriate certificate from authorized Govt. agencies.

General:
• The candidates are required to bring the original certificates along with one Xerox copy of all the documents.
• They have to be present at least one hour before the commencement of interview
• The interview will be held in the conference room of Dept. of Mining Engineering as per following
schedule :
o Post A : 31.01.2011 at 10.00 AM (Monday)
o Post B : 01.02.2011 at 10.00 AM (Tuesday)

Note:

• Only Indian citizens are eligible for research fellowship/ associateships. The awards of research fellowships/associateship do not imply any employment guarantee by Ministry of Coal or ISM where he will be working.
• The Posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the completion of the tenure of the project however
continuation of the person in the project is subjected to his satisfactory performance
