In the wake of recent Mumbai attacks, we would like to pay our condolences to all those who lost their lives and we pray for the health and well being of those who were hurt in this tragic incident in Mumbai, India. It is important to note that the City of Chennai, our conference location, is a cultural center and a peaceful metropolitan city in the southern part of India. We have been vigilant of the developments on issues of safety and security of the international citizens, provided by private and governmental agencies. This is a very important issue to conference organizers. However, we request that everyone keep their plans of attending this conference and not allow these terrorists to win control of our professional and personal lives.
