PH.D. VIVA VOCE EXAMINATION


The Ph.D. Viva Voce Examination of Ms. J. Anuradha, Research Scholar, Department of Mathematics will be held at 1100 hours on April 27, 2009 in the Seminar Hall. The title of the thesis is A Study on the Existence of Best Proximity Points and Fixed Points.


STAFF MATTERS


Prof. M. Singaperumal, Department of Mechanical Engineering has been nominated as Dean (Administration) for a fresh term of two years with effect from April 1, 2009.


Prof. P. V. Subrahmanyam, Head, Department of Mathematics has been invited to be on the nomination council for the Infosys Prize, instituted by the Infosys Science Foundation.


Shri M. Murali Prakash, Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) has completed ME in Power Electronics and Industrial Drives in First Class with Distinction from Sathyabama University in 2007-2009 batch.
