ABSTRACT

In today’s World, many of us need the usage of more than one Operating Systems on our Personal Computers. This is especially because of the incompatibility of programs over different platforms. For instance, a Shell program of Linux cannot be ported on to Windows. But due to the growth in demand for all these different platforms, there has been a rise for the need of some softwares that can permit or provide porting of programs across different platforms. Some such softwares are already available and under active use by different computer-users. Depending upon the functionality and the cost, these softwares are judged and used by many programmers and users across the globe.
