Abstract:
Embedded random access memories can occupy up to 70% of the total area of
modern System on Chips (SoCs). Embedded SRAMs are the most popularly used
due to their robustness compared to DRAMs. Owing to a number of
constraints, embedded SRAMs have a significant impact on power, performance,
testability and yield of complex SoCs. In this presentation, some of these
issues will be discussed.
