Call For Papers : eINDIA 2009
eINDIA 2009 seeks abstracts/ proposal(s) for speakers who illustrate innovation in using information and communication technologies for development, by 30 April 2009.
Proposals should fit the context(s) of any of the six tracks (conferences) and individual speakers representing an innovative organization, project or work should indicate how their projects, or organizations demonstrate innovation in applying information and communication technologies for development.

Guidelines for Abstract and Paper Submission
People sending their abstracts/ full paper through email are requested to strictly follow the guidelines given below. Incomplete papers will not be accepted.
Format
File format – Word Document or PDF
Font style – Arial or Times New Roman in single column format
Font size- 12 for paper
Font size- 14 for the title and authors
Line spacing -1.5 lines
Margins-One inch (2.5cm) at the top, bottom and sides of the page
Abstract and Full Paper
Word limit for abstract should be around 500 words. Include the paper title and authors details as follows (contact details will be given in the conference programme)
Paper Title: The title of the paper should not exceed 8 words.

Word limit for final paper (excluding the abstract, tables, diagrams and references) should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words. Accuracy for all material supplied is the responsibility of the author.
Authors Bio and Image
Authors are requested to submit a brief bio (describing their areas of interest and their present work areas) of about 100 words along with the abstract and an image (high resolution preferably 300 dpi) of the author/s.
Figures and tables
Figures, tables and images should follow the references. Please make sure that every table or figure is referred to in the text. The table or figure will be placed after the first mention in the text. Legends should be short, descriptive and define any acronyms, abbreviations or symbols used.
Authors are requested to provide full color high-resolution images (preferably 300 dpi, jpeg image). The images should also be attached separately with the papers and properly referenced with the text.
References
References to published works must be cited in text according to the author/date system and listed alphabetically as a separate appendix titled 'References' at the end of the manuscript.
A general guideline for papers
The paper may be on accomplished research results, assessments of projects/work-in-progress or fresh concepts, preliminary research results. The paper should state clearly the objective of the project, motivation/need and context of the research/project, describe the methodology used, summarise key findings and state their importance to ICT in education.
Endnotes and footnotes should be kept to an absolute minimum. Substantive comments should be integrated within the text rather than placed in a note.
