The discipline of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was born in the summer of 1956 at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Half of a century has passed, and AI has come a long way since its inception. It has turned into an important field, whose influence on our daily lives can hardly be overestimated. Many specialized AI systems exist that are at work in our cars, in our laptop computers, and in our personal and commercial technologies. There is no doubt that the impact of AI on our lives in the future will become even more general and ubiquitous. The AICTE SDP programs aims at enhancing the knowledge of the participants in the field of Industrial applications of AI.

Senior faculty from the reputed institutions and experts from the industries shall be covering the topics by delivering expertise talks.

Free Registration & Boarding & Lodging

There is no fee charged for the course. The application shall be in the given format appended. Faculty from AICTE approved technical institutions shall be provided with train fare and free lodging and boarding as per AICTE norms. Course material shall be provided as per AICTE guidelines.

Travelling Allowances (TA)

TA will be provided to all outstation participants as per the institute norms.

About the Institution

National Institute of Technology, Agartala is a centrally funded Institute of National Importance is set is to impart quality technical education into various levels of higher learning. The erstwhile Tripura Engineering College ,setup in 1965,which was upgraded to National Institute of Technology, Agartala w.e.f. 1st April 2006.At present, the institute is run under the provision of NIT Act,2007 and it is continuing with eight UG courses namely Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Production Engineering , Chemical Engineering and three PG courses like Structural Engineering under Civil Engineering Department, Thermal Science & Engineering under Mechanical Engineering Department and Power Electronics and Drives under Electrical Engineering Department. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was formed in 1999.
