Call for Papers

 Original research papers on recent developments in bioinformatics are invited for oral and poster presentation in the conference. Intended participants are invited to send the abstracts (not exceeding 250 words) along with full length papers to the organizing secretary on E- mail address bioin2010@gmail.com by December 15, 2009. The Academic program of the conference will consist of Keynote, Plenary and Invited Talks, and Paper Presentations in the following areas:

Also the papers from other relevant areas of bioinformatics and its applications are invited for presentation in the above conference.

Young Scientist Awards

There will be three Young Scientist Awards each in the categories of oral and poster presentation. The candidates upto the age of 35 years on 1st March 2010 will be eligible for being considered for Young Scientist Awards. The candidates who wish to be considered for Young Scientist Awards should indicate on the top of the paper “For Consideration of Young Scientists Award” and send their abstracts and full length papers to the Organizing Secretary by 15th Dec 2009. The papers will be reviewed by the screening committee to decide the mode of pesentation(oral/poster)and selection of paper for presentation in the Award Sessions. The candidate must produce appropriate document for proof of age at the time of registration.

Notification of Acceptance: Dec 30, 2009 early bird Registration: Jan. 15, 2010

Registration Fee

India and SAARC Countries

Rs. 2500/- for delegates from academic institutions; Government Organizations who are not members of Computer society of India

Rs. 2000/- for delegates from academic institutions; Government Organizations who are members of Computer society of India

Rs. 1500/- for students and accompanying persons.

Rs. 5000/- for delegates from industries.

Other Countries

USD 500/- for delegates from academic institutions.
USD 300/- for students and accompanying persons.
USD 750/- for delegates from industries.

The registration fee will include conference proceedings, registration Material, inauguration, high tea, lunches and sponsored dinners. All payments are to be made through bank transfer, cheques/drafts drawn in favor of BIOINFO2010 SVNIT, Surat, Gujarat, INDIA. For late registration additional charges payable would be Rs. 200 for India and SAARC countries and USD 50 for other countries.

Proceedings of the Conference

Contributors of the invited talks and accepted papers for presentation at the conference are required to submit camera-ready copy of the talk/paper by Jan.15, 2010 if they wish their papers to be published in the proceedings of the conference. Only refereed and recommended papers will be published in the proceedings. The instruction and format for the full length paper will be sent along with the acceptance letter.
