RSTSCC- 2010 is an International Conference on “Space Technology Services and Climate Change” to promote the development and use of basic space technology, in particular small satellites, for sustainable socioeconomic development. This conference is the first of its kind to bring together all those diverse communities of researchers & techno crafts dealing with space technology services and climate change.
It serves as a forum to present current work by researchers from all around the world to highlight the activities in the area of space technology and climate change. This forum attempts to explore the possibilities of space devices and equipments in the prediction of climate change along with existing climate model tools like GCM etc.
It includes keynote sessions, plenary sessions , presentations and discussion on the contribution of space-based technologies to mitigate the impact on adverse climatic change. The technologists ,scientists, professionals and research scholars are invited to present their original work and share their expertise with the peer group.
CALL FOR PAPERS:
Technologists, Scientists, Professionals, NGO’s and research scholars are invited to present their original work and experience as technical paper in the conference under the above mentioned Sub-Themes. The paper should not have been presented in any other National or International Conferences/ Journals.
To ensure a wider participation, POSTER sessions will be held along with the oral presentations. Authors desirous of presenting their papers in the poster session may indicate their preference while submitting the abstract. The abstract should not exceed 200 words and can be sent to the organizing secretary through Email Id or Adstract Submission page.

About the Conference:
This will be the first major International conference in Climate change in the southern part of India. The scientific community is brought together for a common concern for scientific policy and strategic perspective in climate change. The conference may provide an avenue through an innovative, annual face-to-face interaction on the Climate Change among the members of this knowledge community which include academics, educators, administrators, policy makers, consultants, researchers and research students expressing insights on technology scenarios, institutional and business models of development and deployment, mechanisms to promote technology transfer to developing countries and to enhance the scope for cooperation on research and development.
Our community members and first time attendees come from all corners of the globe. The Conference is a site of critical reflection, both by leaders in the field and emerging scholars. This conference will examine evidence of climate change, its natural and human causes, and its ecosystemic impacts and its human impacts. The Conference will also concern itself with technological, social, ethical and political responses to climate change. It is an opportunity for decision and policy makers and their direct reports to hear the latest developments on climate change as well as to exchange opinions and ideas to help establish practical frameworks on sustainability.
As a part of conference schedule a space bridge will be arranged through which the pioneers on climate change might address through video conferencing to the core group of attendees during the schedule. The Best Papers of the Sessions the will be published International / National Journals
