National Conference on Frontiers in Chemical Sciences (FICS) -2010, during December 03-04, 2010

 





The Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is organizing a National Conference on Frontiers in Chemical Sciences (FICS) -2010, during December 03-04, 2010. The conference intends to bring together eminent scientists, technologists and young researchers from across the country to provide a common platform for discussing their achievements and newer directions of research in the field of Chemical Sciences. The FICS-2010 conference will deliberate on all branches of Chemical and allied sciences encompassing fields from theory and experiment to applications of Chemistry to modern science and technology. The scientific program will consist of plenary sessions, invited talks, and poster presentations.

FORMAT FOR ABSTRACT

The one-page abstract should be typed in single space, 10 pt, Times New Roman, normal font. Use A4 size paper with margins-top: 1 inch; bottom: 1 inch; left:1.25 inches; and right:1.25 inches. Cite the reference in parentheses e.g. Sampath et al [1] in the text. References should be typed in 10 point, normal font, and single space. The entire abstract including text, figures, equations, structures, schemes and references must be sent as a MS-WORD DOC file. The printed area should be 5.8 inches (W) 9.7 inches (H).

The registration fee is inclusive of accommodation charges only for the invited speakers, chairpersons and posters presenters. Other participants should make their own arrangements for accommodation. Kindly pay the registration fee in advance by demand draft drawn in favour of “Convener FICS 2010, IIT Guwahati” and payable at Canara Bank, IIT Guwahati.
