INTRODUCTION:

A Man has decided to give his intelligence to machine from which the concept of Artificial Intelligence arouse.

Early in 17th Century Rene Descartes proposed the bodies of animals are nothing more than complex machines. This leads to new creations. The first mechanical digital calculating machine in 1642 by Blaise Tascal. The first working artificial intelligence programs were return in 1951 to run “Ferranti Mark Ist” , of university a Manchester : A draughts playing program written by Christopher Strachey & A Chess playing program written by Dietrich Prinz.

John Mc Carthy coined the term “Artificial Intelligence” in 1956. During 1960 – 1970, the first successful knowledge based programme in mathematics was given by Joel Moses. In 1980, Neurel Network became widly used.

In 1990, Major achievement were given by A.I. like Deep Blue, a chess playing computer, beat Grarry Kasparov in a famous six-game match in 1997.

Artificial Intelligence is defined as intelligence exhibited by Artificial entity. It deals with Intelligent behaviour, learning and an adaptation in Machines.
