Electronic devices are rapidly becomes intelligent and autonomous they are intelligent because of “Embedded Systems”.
Then embedded system is a computing device combining Hardware and software, which perform a dedicated Functions or functions. In general, incorporation with hardware, operating signal (os) ,low level software binding the os and peripheral to enable the device to perform predefined functions. Comparison to a computer that performs verifies of tasks at a time, an embedded system performs a single well defined task at a time.
Although they evolved from familiar microprocessor technology the development of embedded systems has followed a different path, because of constraints on their price and use of resources. Breathtaking developments in microelectronics, processor speeds and memory elements accompanied with dropping price, have resulted in powerful embedded systems with a number of applications.
Embedded controllers may be found in many different applications. This includes not only safety-critical applications such as automotive devices and controls, railways , aircrafts aerospace and medical devices , but also communications, ‘mobile worlds’ and ‘e-worlds’ , the ‘smart’ home , clothes ,factories etc .All of these have wide –ranging impacts on society , including security , privacy and modes of working and living
The topic of this presentation will look out for simulating hardware and software components together to form embedded system and the future aspects of applications and breakthrough developments in embedded systems.
