TRAFFIC CONTROL AND TRESPASSER DETECTION

TRAFFIC CONTROL AND TRESPASSER DETECTION

ABSTRACT:

Being a densely vehicle populated country, optimization of fuel would yield conservation of same to a great extent, especially by eluding the unnecessary run time of the engine in proximity to the traffic signal fuel consumption can be optimized. Implication of this system will make our nation a disciplined one and moreover detection of trespassers will lead to declination of number of accidents. Traffic control with trespasser detection is feasible by our dexterous system.

INTRODUCTION:

Each vehicle will be given a unique identification card i-card fixed on the top which bears its category and vehicle number. An arch-scanner constructed at a certain distance from the junction, will continuously scan the I- card of vehicles passing underneath it. The microcontroller inside the arch calculates the signal timing. It transmits this data(time in seconds) to the display set, which displays the decreasing counter value every second. As soon as the counter displays zero trespasser detection scanner nearby the junction will detect the trespasser’s vehicle numbers by scanning the i-card on it,. To have an efficient traffic control, circular priority is employed among the lanes. For special vehicles such as ambulance, fire engines etc will have higher priority over the others.
