“Automation was defined as the technology concern with the application of complex mechanical, electronic and computer based system in the operations and control of production”.

(1) About automation: It which gives us clear idea about automation and explain us in brief about automation. (2)History of automation: It tell us from where automation was born, from whom it was started first and how (i.e. what was used in early automation techniques). (3) Automation product cycle: Here four production activities are explained and product Varity and there uses in various application. (4) Advantages and Disadvantages: This point gives us clear knowledge of automation and where the automation is good for use and where not. (5) Social issue of automation: It gives us idea about issues related to automation. (6) Current emphases in automation: This point tells where automation is used widely and where it will be used in future in coming days. (7) Safety issues of automation: Here some safety issue is mentioned. (8) Automation tool: some tools of automation such as PLC ,PAC ,ANN etc are explained in detail.
