Automation is the system in which methods and machines are used to save human labor. automation also makes possible the performance of task that are well beyond the limits of human capabilities. launching tracking like project requires so many complex computations and such a rapid responses that it can only be accomplished through the employment of high speed computerized system and programmable logic controllers(specialized hardened computer) are frequently used to synchronies the flow of input from sensors and events with the flow of output to actuators and events. human machine interfaces are usually employed to communicate with plc’s and other computers such as entering and monitoring temperatures or pressures for further automated control or emergency response.

Automated systems are able to perform routine –decision making tasks, they enable a company or organization to increase productivity ,repeatability ,tighter quality control ,higher efficiency integration with business system and reduction of labors.

Another major shift in automation is the increased emphasis on flexibility and convertibility the manufacturing process. it also improve operator productivity and accuracy. Automating operator tasks simplifies procedures, reduces operator input and minimizes operators errors.
