Abstract :
Hello dear reader!
You must be very familiar to this topic, i.e. DVD. You might have watched few movies on DVDs. Considering a general reader, you might just be knowing that DVD got high capacity than it’s ancestor CD, & high quality of picture & sound can be obtained on DVD than on CD.
Well, this is very true. But why? How is it achieved? The dimensions of the DVD disk as well as that of CD disks are same; then what’s the difference between them? These & many else kinds of questions must be there in your mind. So this seminar report is to answer these questions & will also give a lots of information about DVD; like, different types of DVDs, basic technology used in them, multibeam technology & a lot more.
