Hy-wire – The Future has Arrived
INTRODUCTION:
The Hy-wire made it’s first appearance in the Detroit Motor show held in January 2002. It was then billed as the Autonomy fuel-cell concept. The general motor’s had then quoted, “ This car will save the planet . It sounds like a fridge and produces no more pollution than a kettle”. This was known to have a motor, steering gear ,suspension and the technical requirements mounted in a platform which resembled a large skateboard with a science fiction-style sports body on top.
