Call for Papers

Management Development Research Foundation invites papers on contemporary issues on Knowledge Management for the 1st National Conference on Knowledge Management to be held on 29 May 2011 in New Delhi. We encourage academics as well as practising managers to send conceptual papers, empirical papers, filed reports, case studies, essays, and commentaries on themes revolving around Knowledge Management practice and research.

Contributors may send papers on any of the following broad areas:

· Critique of Concepts and Theories of Knowledge Management
· Knowledge Management practices/systems in Indian Companies
· Social and political aspects of Knowledge Management
· Knowledge sharing in collaborative work environments
· Knowledge sharing strategies and organizational structure
· HRM issues related to innovation and knowledge sharing
· Information Science & Communication Technologies
· Any other area not covered in the list but relevant for the conference

Abstract Submission

Abstracts of the proposed papers in 250 words may be submitted to nckm.india@gmail.com latest by 7 March 2011. Acceptance to the contributors will be intimated by 15 March, 2011.

Full Paper Submission

Full papers in 3000-5000 words should be submitted by 30 April 2011. All the contributors will be required to submit revised draft (if need be) of their papers latest by 10 May 2011. Contributors should follow APA style for referencing and ensure originality of their papers.

Conference Publications

All the papers selected for 1st National Conference on Knowledge Management 2011 will be published in peer-reviewed journals published by Spartacus India: Review of Knowledge Management, Review of Management and Journal of Management & Public Policy (listed in the database of EBSCO Publishing Inc. USA).

Registration Details

· Registration Fee: Rs 3000/- (till 7 April 2011), Rs. 4000/- till 30 April 2011.
· Registration fee can be remitted through Demand Draft payable in favour of Management Development Research Foundation payable at New Delhi.
· Last date of Registration is 7 April 2011. However, Registration Forms can be accepted till 30 April with higher fee as mentioned above.
· Registration Forms will be sent to contributors whose papers have been accepted for the NCKM 2011.
· In case of multiple authors, all the authors need to register for the conference.
· A limited number of authors may be allowed to present their papers in absentia.

· Last date of Full Paper Submission: 30 April 2011
