International Conference on Perspectives in Chemometrics (ICOPIC2011) At SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai

ICOPIC 2011 is an international forum for state-of-art research in chemometrics will be held in SRM University during 9th - 11th April, 2011.

ICOPIC 2011 is conducted in association with Bristol University, UK and CEERI, Chennai and technically supported by many Universities and colleges all over the world. It is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the field of chemometrics. It also serves to faster communication among researchers working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving chemometrics related techniques.

All submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. Submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical program.

All the registered papers will be published in the conference proceedings and distributed at the conference.

ICOPIC 2011 also includes plenary invited presentations by experts from academia and industry.

About Us

SRM University has four sprawling campuses with plenty of greenery around. Abstracts should be submitted by 5th March, 2011
as e-mail attachments (Word file) to the address: abstract.icopic2011@gmail.com

* All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific review committee.
* Abstracts accepted for publication will be printed as submitted in the Conference Proceeding.
* The Organizers cannot guarantee that abstracts received after the above mentioned deadline (5th March, 2011) will be published in the Proceeding.
* Authors will be notified by e-mail, about the status of acceptance of their work for poster presentation by 10th March, 2011.
* The presenting author must be registered before March 16th 2011, to confirm participation. Only the registered delegates will be permitted to present and participate in the scientific sessions and poster presentation.
* After this deadline, abstracts will not be printed in the Proceeding.

Poster Specification

1. The size of the poster should be restricted to a maximum of 1.2m (Height) X 0.9m (width). It should be printed on vinyl or flex or equivalently good material.
2. The title of the paper and author names should be printed at the top of the poster.
3. Participants are requested to put up their posters at the assigned position atleast an hour before the scheduled time on the day of presentation.
4. The position for each poster will be marked by the abstract number and poster ID number. Please check your abstract number and poster ID number in the program. Double sided tape would be made available for each poster board. Please contact the poster committee desk at the venue.
5. The posters should be pasted in such a way that the poster ID displayed on the board by the organizers is visible.

Conference Registration Information

Registration fees are payable in advance. Complete and submit the registration form online or by downloading a physical registration form and filling it. Conference registration fees may be paid by money transfer and by bank demand draft only. Hotel and related travel costs are not included in registration fees. Students: submit a letter stating that you are a full-time student and are not employed full-time. The letter should provide the name and contact information for your main faculty advisor or your department chair and a copy of your student identification card. ICOPIC reserves the right to verify student status.

3. Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of “ICOPIC 2011” payable at Chennai.

Cancellations / substitutions

All requests for cancellations or substitutions in regard to conference registration must be received in writing to ICOPIC Conference Headquarters. Cancellations are allowed if requests are received on or before 16th March 2011, but each is subject to a non-refundable administrative fee of $200.00 or 250 INR. Requests for cancellations received after 16th March, 2011 will not be honored.
