In this position, you will be working part of PC client architecture group in India responsible for developing world class software products for PC client initiative programs and end-to-end solutions and services for driving India market growth. See core mission of the India group under business group info. Responsibilities include but not be limited to: You will be responsible for designing and developing production quality application/middleware/system software, technology reference implementation and proof-of-concept prototypes following software product life cycle including requirements definition, design, benchmarking, integration/E2E solutions testing, and product sustenance for Linux MeeGo/Android platforms.
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering with at least 6-8 years working experience in applications and systems software design and development on Linux platforms. Additional qualifications include:
- Minimum Criteria: At least 6-8 years in C and/or C++ work experience, excellent in problem solving, good communication, confidence in expertise, able to ramp on own and very good attitude
- Excellent working knowledge and experience with C and/or C++ Demonstrated work experience with Gstreamer multimedia framework/QT user interface applications development; Good understanding of Linux kernels and hardware driver interaction concepts Excellent debugging skills;Excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to clearly communicate concepts to peers and management in India and in the US

In this position, you will be fully responsible for managing interfaces among different systems and implementing and conducting software integration testing activities for different Applications, Platforms and Environments. You will be translating multiple business perspectives into an integration tests specification and communicating with other stakeholders. In this position, you will be responsible for defining validation strategy, developing test plans, designing test scripts and verifying scripts, Automation of test cases debugging graphics software issues. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working with development team, architects and review the test plan, script designs and should have good understanding of black and/or white box and performance testing for the modules and/or components to ensure certain quality criteria for software release is met
- Understanding overall product requirements and product software architecture to optimize tests across modules and leverage automation for quicker, wider test coverage
