Position: Program Manager
Experience: 10+ years

Job Description & Duties:

The position will include the following responsibilities

* Manage a large volume of small to medium size portal customization and delivery projects with short timelines.
* Interface directly with sales team and customers to analyze and define needs and requirements and understand initial expectations.
* Interface directly with customers during all phases of the project lifecycle, keeping in constant communication, setting expectations, while delivering the highest quality of customer service and satisfaction.
* Interact directly with offshore development and support teams to facilitate definition and completion of projects.
* Coordinate the delivery of creative assets including wireframes and mockups between clients and development teams.
* Communicate customer expectations and deadlines in a pro-active manner utilizing project management tools in a collaborative environment.
* Communicate effectively to management all project timelines, critical issues, risks and priorities.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Web technology knowledge and experience a must including a solid understanding of HTML, Cascading Stylesheets (CSS), XSLT, Javascript, and XML.
* Great communication skills and experience in customer service and satisfaction.
* Experience with Project Management tools and processes.
* Two to four years experience in project management of web-based deliverables.
* Think on your feet, have strong problem-solving skill and make sound decisions.
* Understand design processes and software development life cycle.
* Experience with delivery of creative assets (wireframes/mockups/etc).
* Comfortable interacting with offshore resources.
* Publishing Industry/ newspaper or other media industry experience a plus.
* Experience with graphics design in Photoshop a plus.
