Scope of the Conference:
Process automation and control is an important subject that finds wide application in engineering industries like manufacturing sectors, service utilities like power industries and in technology development. Process automation relieves the drudgery of human involvement in repeated engineering tasks, and safeguards human beings from hazardous working environment like nuclear industries. Control engineering, on the other hand helps to maintain the quality of the final product, without which present day industries cannot meet out stringent market requirements. Both process automation and control involve lot of computing activities like software development for executing complex mathematical algorithms and data/image processing. Hence process automation control and computing is an inter-disciplinary field that involves engineers from different engineering backgrounds like Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical/Electronics and Computer science. International conference on PACC aims to provide a platform for practicing engineers, scientists and academicians to share their experiences in process automation and control, pose their day- to-day problems, and evolve solutions to few of them. The three day conference will provide ample opportunity for exchange of thoughts among practicing engineers and academicians; in addition, it will also provide scope for research students to work in practical engineering problems and develop technologies to some of the unsolved problems in process automation and control.

The best paper award will be chosen by the organizing committee in consultation with advisory committee based on both presentation and technical content of the paper.
Paper Submission
All papers must be submitted through the conference submission website http://www.pacc2011.org by 31st march 2011. Please download the template from the conference website. Paper must be submitted in English. Upon acceptance authors will be required to register and present their papers.

Each paper is limited to maximum of 6 pages only, and additional pages will be charged. Authors are requested to follow the conference format
Prospective authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not being considered in any other conference or journal. Submitted manuscripts will be limited to 6 pages in IEEE proceedings style and required to be formatted using the template in WORD. Full text papers (.pdf, .doc) will be accepted by Online Submission System or by Email submission@pacc2011.org. Submitted papers will undergo a thorough review process handled by the Technical Program Committee. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to attend the conference and present the paper.
