National Symposium for Materials Research Scholars and
Workshop on Advanced Characterization Techniques
The Research Scholars and the Faculty of the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science are pleased to announce one day Workshop on Advanced Characterization Techniques and two days National Symposium for Materials Research Scholars.
This would give an opportunity for the students around the country (from other IITs, NITs, Research Institutions and Universities) to come together and learn advanced characterization techniques like SEM/TEM, get to know at close-quarters the kind of Materials Research going on and the advances that have been achieved in newer and novel areas. It could also be a platform for future exchange of ideas and co-operation.
The event is scheduled to take place on 8th and 9th of May 2009, but the workshop will commence on 7th of May 2009

Last date for submitting abstracts 31st January, 2009
Intimation of acceptance of paper 28th February, 2009
Last date for Registration 31st March, 2009
Registration for Symposium with extra fees 1st April, 2009 and later
Workshop 7th May, 2009
Symposium 8th-9th May, 2009
