Course Overview:

In today's competitive world, managers are required to maintain effective business operations in order to be most successful among others. Particularly, HR managers are entrusted with specific responsibilities such as selection, training development, administration, performance appraisal, and performance management of the employees. Competency mapping and feedback always remains as the most important assignment of HR manager to retain, regulate and manage organisational talents. It is the experience of many managers and organisational experts that people in organisation experience obsolescence very fast in the first 3 years of their careers unless their knowledge managed properly and updated rightly. Competency mapping not only help organisations to hire and recruit right candidate but also help to find a right man for the right job. This can only be possible if organisations have assessment centres for competency profiling and developing assessment centric organisations. Competency mapping becomes more effective when right form of feedback is available to the personnel of the organisation. This makes people aware of their present status (strengths and weaknesses) and prepares them to develop for the future to meet the dynamic demands of their organisation to remain effective and successful. This course will immensely benefit the participants by imparting both theoretical and practical lesions that are useful for academics and business industry.

Faculty:

Experienced faculty from IIT Kharagpur (From HSS and VGSOM) along with few guest faculties from reputed institute/university will delivered lecture in this course.

Pedagogy


Lecture through audio-visual presentation, simulation, structure exercise, group discussion, case analysis, and with interactive-brain storming sessions.

Teachers from AICTE approved colleges, institutes and universities are eligible to participate in this course.

TA/DA will be reimbursed to all the participants as per rules.
