Objective

The objective of this course is to provide an in depth knowledge about Wireless and Mobile Networks. A case study on wireless telecommunication networks is also a part of this course. The participants will be exposed to hands on practice on wireless LAN technologies & wireless sensor networks.
Apart from these, the course will give the overall view about the future generation networking protocol IPv6. In addition, the course offers real time products developed by experts in wireless technologies.

The Department

The department offers the following UG & PG level programmes: B.E. Computer Science and Engineering, M.E. Computer Science and Engineering, M.E. Software Engineering and M.E. Computer and Communication Engineering.
      The Department has faculty members specialized in Computer Architecture, Software Engineering, Software Testing, Computer Networks, Digital Image Processing, Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithm, Visual Programming, Web Technology, Component Based Technology, Bioinformatics and Distributed Computing.

Faculty members from AICTE approved Engineering institutions.

Invited experts from IITs, IISc, Anna University, expert faculty of Sona College of Technology and Industry experts from ABB & HP will be delivering lectures and sharing their expertise with the participants.


Registration

     Free registration. However, the participants must register online for early arrangements. They should also send the filled in application form with a DD of Rs. 300/- drawn in favor of Sona College of Technology, payable at Salem. This will be refunded at the end of the course.
