    Seminar Report “Chip control in a machining Process” foresights the control of chips i.e. formed during machining operation. For easy reading of this article it is divided into various sections.It begins with an introduction followed by the chip formation, factor affecting chip formation,chip classification. Necessity of chip control,method of chip control,chip breakers and the future tendencies in chip control . It concludes with the types of chip breaker i.e. used now a days.
