Anna University Tiruchirappalli was established as per the Tamilnadu act 41 of 2006 came into force from 1st February 2007 at Tiruchirappalli which is popularly known as the Rock fort city. Besides, seven university campuses and two Government engineering colleges, there are 77 self financing engineering colleges affiliated to this University.
The University has the following faculties
• Faculty of Civil Engineering
• Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
• Faculty of Electrical Engineering
• Faculty of Information and Communication engineering
• Faculty of Science and Humanities
• Faculty of Technology
• Faculty of Management Studies.
These faculties offer UG courses in Civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Petrochemical Technology, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology. In addition, PG courses in Software Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, MBA, MCA and pharmacy are also offered. The University strives to provide student–centered state‐of–the‐art courses besides excellence in research and developmental activities.
Department of Pharmaceutical Technology
The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology comprises UG program with B.Tech Pharmaceutical technology and PG program with M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical analysis). It also offers full time/part time PhD programme.
Details of the Conference
This conference aims to explore the potential of nanotechnology for new product development and its application in the field of Pharmacy and Biology which offers great benefits. The national conference intends to bring the eminent scientists, technologists, government officials and young researchers from several disciplines across the country together to provide a common platform for discussing their achievements and future directions of research. A diverse, Envisaging quality education through hardwork. There is no substitute for hardwork well‐balanced scientific programme is planned. Plenary lectures will be delivered by prominent and highly respected professionals selected for their past credentials and their distinctive vision of the future. The participants are encouraged to submit their abstracts for Poster exhibition. The
intention of the Organizing committee is to provide an opportunity for the scientists closely related to pharmaceutical nanotechnology, to come together and present their original work, share experiences and problems in warm and stimulating atmosphere.
