GRANULATED COPPER SLAG IN ROAD CONSTRUCTION -LABORATORY TEST TRACK STUDY
ABSTRACT
Deflection characteristics are one of the critical parameter for structural performance of the pavement. In the present study it is aimed to study the deflection characteristics of Granulated copper slag and quarry dust to compare with Water Bound Macadam stretch and Bituminous Macadam stretch. Three types of base course materials are tested in the laboratory and were laid in the circular test track. The deflections were measured using depth gauge for each 500 repetitions. The deflection characteristics of the three stretches were compared.
