"Taguchi System" is one of the important alternatives <>j the modern quality Engineering. Company wide activities that arE needed to improve quality and productivity ore that are

1. Product planning.
2. Product design.
3. Process design.
4. Production.
5. Service alters purchase.

The road purpose of the "overall quality system" is to product a product that is robust with respect to all noise factors. Robustness implies that the products functional characteristics are not sensitive to variation caused by noise factors. In order to achieve robustness quality control efforts must begin in the product design phase and he continued through the product engineering and production operation phases.

On-line quality control deals with the daily activities to control process condition by observing either quality characteristics of products or process parameters. The methods used in such activities are extensions of engineering methodologies called 'feedback control', 'feedforward control', and 'calibration'. It is known that all

processes will drift if control is no! applied. Therefore the purpose of quality control is to produce- uniform products by adjusting process according to information about the process and or the product produced. Based on this information, a solution to Minimize quality loss or cost can be devise.
