Requirements of BMHS
Position: Project Manager, BMHS

Qualification:
o B. Tech. / BE (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) with 10-12 years experience
o Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) with more than 15 years experience

Location: based at Jamshedpur

Responsibilities:
o This is a senior level position with responsibilities of handling multiple projects as required.
o Will be a single window point of contact for the projects assigned.
o Lead a team of project coordinators & construction professionals with excellent skills in techno-commercial, man-management & leadership.
o Should be conversant with project finance, including estimation, budgeting, expenditure, billing and collection from clients and control project cost and time overrun.
o Will need to develop and execute recovery plan in case of delays or overruns

Essential Competencies:
o Knowledge of laws governing contract labor in construction industry
o Should have competency in planning, organizing and execution of construction projects and coordinate with clients / consultants, various internal departments and vendors / sub-contractors
o Well conversant in using MS Project and SAP
o Should have working knowledge of safety practices in the construction industry

Position: Resident Construction Manager, BMHS

Qualification:
o B. Tech. / BE (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) with 05 – 08 years experience
o Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) with more than 10 years experience

Location: person would be based at site

Responsibilities:
o This is a middle level position with responsibilities of heading the construction site independently
o Will have to ensure completion of project safely (i.e. erection, commissioning, PG test and successfully handing over pant to client) without time and cost overruns
o Will need to liaise with customers / consultants regularly and ensure desired progress
o Will have responsibility of ensuring utilization of resources including those of vendors and subcontractors
o Will lead a team of technical, construction and support professionals with excellent skills in man-management & leadership.
o Will be responsible for proper billing and collection.
o Will maintain appropriate documentation for all site activities (including time and cost overruns).

Essential Competencies:
o Knowledge of laws governing contract labor in construction industry
o Should have competency in planning, organizing and execution of construction projects and coordinate with clients / consultants and vendors / sub-contractors
o Well conversant in using MS Project and SAP
o Should have working knowledge of safety practices in the construction industry
o Should have knowledge in preparation of schemes for critical erection of heavy structures, machinery with the help of cranes and other lifting devices

Position: Executive (Stores - Sites), BMHS

Qualification:
o Graduate in Commerce / Science / Diploma in Engineering with 8-10 years experience in a site stores of Construction Project
o Persons with additional qualification in Supply Chain Management / diploma in mechanical Engineering will be given preference

Responsibilities:
o Receive, identify, store and issue construction material at site as per company’s procedure
o Maintain records of receipt and issue and enter in SAP
o Hand over material to clients and obtain Material Receipt Notes for billing / accounting purpose
o Arrange Gate Pass for materials / personnel as and when necessary
o Ensure proper unloading of materials from trucks / deliver material from storage and take timely action to avoid demurrage

Essential Competencies:
o Should have knowledge of safe storage practices for preventing deterioration of quality of material and prevention from fire and other hazards
o Should be proficient in MS Office and be able to do basic analysis
o Enter into correspondence with suppliers for shortage, claim for breakage of material etc.
o Interact with insurance company for realizing claims

Position: Quality Assurance Executives (Sites), BMHS

Qualification:
o B.E. / B. Tech Mechanical / Civil Engineering with 03 to 05 Years experience in Construction industry in infrastructure projects in power, steel mines ports and cement industry
o Diploma holders with experience of 7 years and above will also be considered
o Should be NDT (like ultrasonic, MPI, LDP) level 2 certified for UT, RT and DP

Responsibilities:
o Should be able to develop / follow QAP as required
o Should do sampling as per IS and test for acceptance of incoming material and formally advice as appropriate
o Ensure quality control at site with regard to civil and structural work (fabrication, erection and mechanical erection)
o Guide site staff for ensuring meeting quality and productivity targets
o Should be able to train site engineers / contractors’ workmen to ensure quality and productivity in work output
o Should analyze and advice corrective and preventive action based on failures as well as customer feedback
o Ensure compliance to national and international standards and legislations

Essential Competencies (QA Civil / Mechanical: as applicable):
o Knowledge and exposure in BIS standards / British Standards/ASTN/DIN, with regard to Quality standards applicable in construction industry
o Should be well conversant with the test procedures
o Should be well aware of identifying nonconformities and disposition of same.
o Candidate should be conversant with development and exposition of Project Quality Management System (PQMS).
o Knowledge of execution of work as per approved QAP of the client, getting the work passed / and protocols signed by clients
o Prepare Quality Manuals and SOPs for site work for quality and safe operating practice
o Should be conversant with QMS
o Should have good analytical and interpretation skills.

Position: Safety Officers (Site), BMHS

Qualification:
o Degree / Diploma in Engineering with specialized Diploma in Safety Management from an institute of repute with experience of 04-06 years in Safety Management of Construction Site.
o Candidates with B.Sc. degree with Diploma in Safety management will also be considered.

Job Responsibilities
o Ensure Safety at Construction Sites
o Prepare SOPs, train and institute safe working practice at site including working at heights / confined spaces / congested areas
o Ensure use of appropriate PPEs and other safety appliances
o Ensure safety compliance by sub-contractors and agencies working at the construction sites
o Prepare daily / weekly / monthly reports on safety

Essential Competencies:
o Knowledge of various statutes governing licenses / permissions etc. to be obtained from state and central government agencies / under Factories Act for Load Test Certificate of construction equipment etc.

Position: Draughtsman (Jamshedpur / Kolkata), BMHS

Qualification:
o ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an institute of repute. Experience of 05-08 years in drawing / detailing of plant layout / Systems Engineering in Bulk Material Handling business / industry

Job Responsibilities:
o Prepare design / drawings for plant layout, conveying system, chutes, buildings / houses etc. and detailing thereof
o Should understand terminology applicable in design engineering and understand instructions / directive of Design Engineers and incorporate changes
o Should be able to make ‘as built drawings’ as per site work · Essential Competencies:
o Should be fully conversant for working on CAD

Requirements of P&YE
Position: Design Manager, P&YE

Qualification:
o B. Tech. / BE (Mechanical / Civil) with 04-08 years experience

Location: based at Kolkata

Responsibilities:
o Should be able to conceptualize and develop detail drawings from the general drawings prepared
o Should be able to guide a team of draftsmen
o Should have knowledge in checking drawings correctly considering the functionality of the equipment
o Must have thorough knowledge in selecting various components & carrying out strength calculations for components used
o Should have good knowledge in mechanical / structural analysis of above machines
o Should have knowledge in operational philosophy of level luffing cranes, stackers, stacker reclaimers etc.
o Should be able to work seamlessly with Clients / Consultants and be able to understand and explain technical specifications

Essential Competencies:
o Knowledge of design of large material handling equipment used in ports and yards
o Must have worked in detailing & designing of similar equipment in industries of repute
o Must have thorough knowledge in developing drawings in Auto Cad

Requirements of BoP
Position: Head Proposals / Estimation / Sales, BoP

Qualification:
o Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering with 18-20 years experience engineering / contract administration / proposals preferably in balance of plant project of a coal based thermal power plant
o PG in business management is desirable · Location: based at Kolkata

Responsibilities:
o Will handle multiple projects as required
o Will be responsible for selection of suitable partners for submission of complete BoP proposals including entering into techno-commercial collaborations with partners
o Will be responsible for preparation and submission of tender proposals, risk assessment and mitigation measures, contract administration and management, negotiation with clients, vendors, partners and
associates and closing of contracts
o Coordinate with vendors, clients and other departments of the organization
o Capable to lead the team of professionals to generate business for the organization

Essential Competencies:
o Should be knowledgeable in contract management, commercial and legal aspects
o Should have competency in planning, organizing and documentations and capability to coordinate with clients / consultants, various internal departments and vendors / sub-contractors

Qualification:

o Diploma engineers (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) with more than 12 years experience in engineering / construction preferably in balance of plant area of a coal base thermal Power Plant · Location: based at Kolkata

Responsibilities:
o Will handle multiple projects as required
o Will assist Head proposals for preparation and submission of tender proposals
o Will be responsible for engineering, estimation, obtaining quotations / offers, scrutinizing and evaluation of Offers, raising indents and finalization of procurement
o Will coordinate with vendors, clients and other departments of the organization

Essential Competencies:
o Knowledge in contract management, commercial and legal aspects
o Conceptual knowledge in layout, basic and detail engineering of any one or more BoP packages like coal /ash handling, civil and piling work, electrical BoP including switch yards, water treatment, HVACs
and related utilities
o Should have competency in planning, organizing and documentations and capability to coordinate with clients / consultants, various internal departments and vendors / sub-contractors

engaged in projects of bulk material handling systems catering to core industries like
power, steel, cement, mines and port sectors. Experience in coal handling plants &
