About the Workshop:
This Workshop aims to bring about a cordial and conducive relationship between the staff and students. This workshop intends to facilitate easy communication and for counseling students in various aspects related to
study and their academic performance.
Who should attend:
This programme is meant for the young faculty of College of Engineering, School of Architecture & Planning, AC Tech and MIT Campuses of Anna University, Chennai – 600025.
Aims to achieve the following objectives:
To create a stress free educational atmosphere for the students
To ensure an all round development of students.
To inculcate and imbibe values and cordial relationship with fellow students and faculty members.
About the Centre for Faculty Development:
In order to improve the quality of education, it has become essential to improve the teaching skills and
knowledge of the teachers in the subjects they teach. The centre conducts faculty development training
programmes to cater to the needs of faculty members for the past five years. The centre trains the teachers to plan and prepare the lessons understand the subject and improve the teaching quality.
About the Centre for Empowerment of Women
The Centre for Empowerment of Women, Anna University Chennai was established in the year 2002 with
the objective of empowering girl students, women research scholars, women faculty members and staff.
In the past the Centre for empowerment of Women has conducted several seminars and workshops related to women empowerment.
