LNMIIT announces Undergraduate Admission for July 2011 At The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur

How to Apply

Students can apply for admission to undergraduate programs at LNMIIT in two ways.

Online Method - Fill the application form online, through internet.

INSTRUCTIONS: How to apply online..?

* Step 1: Click here and fill the mandatory information to create the account.
* Step 2: A verification mail will be generated on your mentioned email id, click on the link given in mail to verify your email id.
* Step3: After verification, you will be a registered applicant, a username & password for your online application will be sent on your email id.
* Step 4: Log into your account, using the login box provided at the left side of this page. Fill the information including the required demand draft details and submit the online form on or before May 15, 2011.

You are required to pay application processing fee of Rs. 1000/- in the form of a demand draft drawn in favor of The LNM Institute of Information Technology payable at Jaipur. Please write your name, mobile no. and username on the back side of the demand draft before sending it by post.

* Step 5: Fill the AIEEE/IITJEE Rank details once the results are announced in the online admission portal.

Offline Method - DOWNLOAD the application form, fill it and send by post.

INSTRUCTIONS: How to apply offline..?

* Step 1: Click on DOWNLOAD to download the application form.
* Step 2: Fill the application form completely and send a demand draft along with the filled in application form to reach LNMIIT on or before May 15, 2011.

You are required to pay application processing fee of Rs. 1000/- in the form of a demand draft drawn in favor of The LNM Institute of Information Technology payable at Jaipur. Please write your name, and mobile no. on the back side of the demand draft before sending it by post.

* Step 3: Once your application is received a confirmation will be sent by e-mail and SMS along with the username & password for your application. Use this username & password to check the status of your application on this portal.
* Step 4: Fill the AIEEE/IITJEE Rank details once the results are announced in the online admission portal.

Important Dates

March 15 – May 15: Issue of Application forms (online/ offline).

May 15: Deadline for submission of completed application forms online/ offline (by post) along with a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- (one thousand only) in favor of The LNM Institute of Information Technology payable at Jaipur. The application, duly filled in, should be sent to:

Please use SPEED POST/ REGISTERED POST for mailing the application and the demand draft. If you want to use COURIER SERVICES, then please use the following courier services ONLY – DTDC, First Flight, DHL Express.

May 25: Applicants should have received the Username and password for entering their AIEEE 2011 or JEE 2011 rank. Applicants who do not receive these through e-mail or SMS by this date should send an e-mail to admissions@lnmiit.ac.in with the subject "Password not received".

Applicants must visit the website admissions@lnmiit.ac.in and enter their AIEEE 2011 rank or JEE 2011 result within four days of the declaration of both AIEEE/ JEE results. Students who fail to do so will NOT be considered for admission.

June 17: First round of admission offers.

The fees must be deposited by the date(s) mentioned in the admission offer.

The waiting list will be activated as and when necessary.

July 23: Reporting to the Campus for admission (Course starts on July 23).

July 25-29: Orientation programme.

July 30: Registration.

August 01: Classes Commence.

Fee Structure

The fee structure is as follows:

• One-time payment:

* Caution Money: Rs. 8,000 (Refundable)
* Admission fee: Rs. 3,000 (Non refundable)

• Per semester charges:

* Registration fee: Rs. 3,000
* Tuition fee: Rs. 60,000
* Hostel fee: Rs. 15,000
* Mess establishment charge: Rs. 1,000
* Monthly mess charges are on actual basis and for this each student is required to deposit Rs. 9,000 as mess advance.

Students are, therefore, expected to pay Rs. 99,000 at the time of admission. The said amount should be paid through ICICI Bank as per the instructions mentioned in the admission offer letter.

The LNMIIT is a residential Institute. Therefore, staying in the Institute hostel and joining the mess is compulsory for all students.

The Governing Council of LNMIIT reserves the right to review the fees and other charges from time-to-time. Normally, such reviews are done annually.

Admission Process

Students appearing in AIEEE 2011 and/ or the Joint Entrance Exam 2011 conducted by the IITs (IIT-JEE) are eligible to apply for admission to LNMIIT in 2011. The admission to the LNMIIT will be on the basis of AIEEE All India rank and/or the performance in IIT-JEE. The total number of seats is 300.

Direct Admission

Boys within top 10 ranks and girls within top 20 ranks in senior secondary exam of 12th class conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, in the year 2011, are eligible for direct admission. Only those students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in 12th class will be considered for admission through this route.

One of our major strengths is to offer admissions only on the above mentioned criteria. All seats are filled through these channels only.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available for those who have achieved a high rank in JEE or AIEEE. Also, some financial support is available for girl students from Rajasthan (those who have done 12th class from a school in Rajasthan) and belong to financially weak background.

Eligibility

1. The candidate should have appeared for AIEEE / JEE 2011
2. The candidate should have secured atleast 60% aggregate marks in 10th Standard
3. The candidate should have secured atleast 60% aggregate marks in 12th Standard
