About the Conference

International Conference on Modern Trends in Instrumentation and Control 2011 (ICIC'11) is intended to bring to light the state of art of research results, to disseminate knowledge, to exchange ideas between academic community and industrial organizations and to perceive future developments relevant to Instrumentation and Control Engineering. ICIC'11 provides the forum for researchers, engineers and academia to exchange the latest information about instrumentation and control concepts and applications, experiences from existing deployment, current developments and future evolution.

Scope

* The First International Conference on Modern Trends in Instrumentation and Control 2011 (ICIC'11) solicits innovative research papers on Instrumentation and Control. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following :

* Instrumentation

Biomedical Instrumentation, Environmental Instrumentation, Instrumentation for Defense and Atomic Energy, Optical and Analytical Instrumentation, Smart Sensors, Safety Instrumentation System, Data Fusion, Virtual and Intelligent Instrumentation, Industrial Automation and Process Control, Instrumentation Standards and Protocols, MEMS and Nano Sensors.

* Control

Linear and Nonlinear control, Multivariable control, Model Predictive control, Robust control, Network control, Intelligent control, Process control, System Theory, Hybrid and Discrete Event Systems, Identification & Filtering, Robotics, Signal Processing and Fault Diagnosis.

* Publications

Selected papers will be published in Our Technology Journal.

Extended version of the selected papers will be published in the International Journal on Smart Sensing and Intelligent Systems.

* Submission of papers

The full paper submission will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contribution, and readability. The accepted full paper will be published in the conference proceeding. Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers including results, tables, figures and references in IEEE format. Full text paper will be accepted only by electronics submission in word document.

Intimation of Acceptance: 15 July 2011
Final Paper Submission & Registration for Authors: 30 July 2011
Registration closes on: 20 August 2011

Accompanying Guest/Spouse 50 USD Rs.1000

Registration fee includes Conference Kit, a copy of the Proceedings, Souvenir, Food and Banquet. However, accompanying guests/spouse cannot avail the conference kit and the copy of the proceedings.

Mode of Payment

Indian Delegates : The registration fee is to be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Organizing Secretary, ICIC 2011”, PSGCT, payable at Coimbatore.

Overseas Delegates : Overseas delegates can pay the Registration fee by International Bank Transfer to “Organizing Secretary ICIC 2011”, A/c Number : 3075062800, Central Bank of India, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, TamilNadu, India. The swift code is CBININBBAMDR.

Accommodation

A wide range of Hotel Accommodation is available in Coimbatore city, close to the venue of the conference. Limited accommodation is also available at the guest house of the college on a chargeable basis. Participants willing to stay in hostel / guest house have to send a request letter for accommodation along with registration form.
