Globalization has become the inevitable happening throughout the world. It refers to increasing global connectivity, integration and interdependence in the economic, social, technological, cultural, political, and ecological spheres. The world of business is changing fast. In the new millennium, business corporations will have to deal with entirely new challenges to meet the global competition. Competitiveness is achieved when a firm develops and exploits its core competence. Strategic management process shows how organisations can achieve this by providing a unique set of strategic tools for sustainable competitive advantage. Attaining such an advantage results in the earnings that far exceed the normal situation for the investor.

Why this Conference

The primary objective of the conference is to generate innovative strategies that can be applied with global perspectives.

Guidelines For Authors

This conference invites original, research-based papers and cases in all the functional areas of Management. If the research paper has already been presented in seminars, the details of the same should be mentioned with acknowledgements to the reviewers. The guidelines for contributor of manuscript are detailed below.

Format

Manuscripts should normally be of about 3000 words (10, A-4 size pages), typed double space, 12-point Font, in Times New Roman. Microsoft word for windows is preferred. Manuscript should be sent in duplicate with the covering page bearing only the title of the paper and author’s name, designation, official address and phone/ fax numbers. American spelling to be followed in the manuscript. Abstract of about 300 words with 3 to 5 key words should be prepared in a separate sheet.

Tables and Figures

Each table and figure should be indicated by marginal notation specifying where each table or figure should be inserted in the text.

References

References should be placed at the end of the manuscript. Arrange the reference list in alphabetical order of author’s surnames. The author’s surname is placed first, followed by initials, and then the year of publication is given followed by details of the publication. The name of the publication usually a book or journal appears in Italics.

Use of numerals: (5 percent), distance (5 km) or age (10 years old.) (21st century)

Literature citations

Quotes should be cited accurately from the original publication and double quotes to be used. Apart from the author and year, page number should be mentioned for quotes. Submission of manuscripts

* Manuscript sent for review should be original work which has not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscript sent for review should be sent in a soft copy.
* The cover page should contain the 1. Title of the paper, 2. Name of the Author / Authors, 3. Designation, 4. Place of Work, 5. Postal Address, 6. Phone contacts, 7. E-mail contacts
* The inner first page should contain the Title of the paper (Without the author/authors name), Abstract (About 300 words) and Key Words.
* Page two shall begin with Title of the paper followed by Full paper.
* Manuscript, which does not conform to these guidelines, will not be considered.
* Those submitting papers should also certify that the paper has not been presented earlier in any national/International conference, published in any journals or submitted for publication. If this undertaking is not given, the manuscript will not be considered for review.
