OBJECTIVE AND THEME OF THE CONFERENCE

Growing population, economic development coupled with natural calamities demands a quality infrastructure for residential,commercial and industrial purposes. But non engineered construction and maintenance practices have put enormous pressure on civil engineers. On other side globalization demands rapid infrastructure development technologically so that India be in the category of developed nations. To fulfill the above target an efficient technologies and practices must be incorporated in design and development of civil engineering structures. Thus Civil Engineers need a continuous up- gradation of knowledge and experience in several advanced fields in order to find the solution to the problems for serving the future generations. The proposed conference will give an opportunity to civil engineers to exchange their research and design methods so that quality infrastructural development is ensured in future. The Department of Civil Engineering of National Institute of Technology very aptly decided to organize two days National Conference on “Recent Advances in Civil Engineering” (RACE) on 13-14 June, 2013 at NIT Patna. Academicians, engineers, 

Architects, technocrats, researchers, Scientists, bureaucrats, Developers are invited to share theirexperiences in the field of Civil Engineering.

CALL FOR PAPER: FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

Authors are requested to submit abstracts (500 words in New Roman Times 12 pt) through post or email. A team of peers, selected by the scientific committee, will review the abstract. Full submission guidelines can be found on the institute web site 

(www.nitp.ac.in) 

REGISTRATION
Delegates may complete and return the registration form along with registration fee per delegate as follows:
Category of Registration Fee
Students/ Research Scholar  Rs. 750.00
Delegates from Academic/ Research Institutes Rs. 1500.00
Delegates from Industry Rs. 2000.00



PAYMENTS
All Payments should be made through demand drafts drawn in favour of RACE (NITP) - 2013, payable at Patna.
