AICTE SHORT TERM TRAINING PROGRAM on “MECHANICAL DRAWINGS USING CAD” (MDC-2009) 07/12/2009 to 11/12/2009
Organized by
Mechanical Engineering Department,
S.V. National Institute of Technology,
Surat - 395007
About the Course: MDC 2009
The Computer Aided Design has brought a revolution in product design not only by reducing down the product development time but also as a feasible approach for the product design without being actually making it. Many models with complex geometry as well as assemblies can be visualized using CAD packages and their drawing can be generated for various applications. Various industrial sectors linked with Mechanical and Production Engineering stream have tremendous scope to explore the CAD facilities. A need for this STTP is to provide a forum to explore the capabilities of CAD packages for generating Engineering drawing/Mechanical drawing.
