NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON MICROWAVE PROCESSING OF MATERIALS (NSMWP-2010) IIT DELHI, India
INTRODUCTION:
Microwave processing of ceramics, composites, semiconductors and metals, etc is emerging as an innovative technology for tailoring the materials for future/novel applications in many diverse fields. The processing is carried out either in a multimode, single mode (E- or H-field) or in conjunction with other processing techniques. These developments in this field are, therefore, attracting worldwide attention of various industries/academic institutions.
The purpose of this symposium is to bring together state of the art developments on all aspects related to the microwave processing of materials at one platform, and to provide opportunity to young workers to interact with the experts. The Key- Note and Invited papers from “leading-edge” academic and industrial research organizations will provide lucid and comprehensive overview of the current status and elucidate the future directions for microwave processing.
